It has been ten days since we picked up our little girl pup Nori, though it feels like we have known Suz Ruby forever. I cannot say enough kind words about how wonderful this process was. From the very beginning, Suz was incredibly personable and open to any question we had. She was able to give us  tools to help prepare for our puppy coming home, and this was invaluable information.

ABOUT BERNEDOODLE.DO

Trusted Dog Breeders

Bernedoodle.do is family-operated, and our puppies are each individually loved by all of us during their time in our home. We have been involved with breeding animals since 1997, when, what started out as small family pet's pregnancy, turned into a fulfilling and life-changing enterprise. Our main priority is to give back. We ensure the health and well-being of all our animals: parents are all health-checked/have passed their clearances, and pups trained with the Puppy Culture program from birth until they leave with their forever family - and beyond. In addition - with the purchase of every puppy, a portion goes to a

a non-profit organization.

Our puppies, and my Beau boy as well, were cared for and loved from day 1 by Suz, Nic, and their 4 daughters. Every step of the way, Suz was there. Every question (and I had a LOT as a first time dog owner)—answered (quickly, honestly, friendly). I’ve already recommended to two different people from CT that they find Bernedoodle.do and Suz and Nic wherever they are before they get a doodle from anyone else. We love our Beau, my daughter and he have bonded like a duckling to its mom, and I can’t thank Suz and Nic more for the wonderful start to our newest family member’s life. You won’t be disappointed.

FAQ

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?

The difference between a Traditional Teddy Bear Mini Bernedoodle + an Australian Mini Bernedoodle:

  • Teddy Bear Bernedoodle: Bernese Mountain Dog + Toy Poodle

  • Australian Bernedoodle: Bernese Mountain Dog + Australian Labradoodle

HOW MUCH EXERCISE DOES A BERNEDOODLE NEED?

As with any dog, bernedoodles need regular exercise - physical + mental. Because these dogs have a laid-back temperament, they still need regular exercise, but to a moderate amount, to burn down their calories for a sound health and mental fitness. Take them out for walks for 30 minutes to one hour daily. Practice your Baxter + Bella training to stimulate them mentally. Create games to challenge them!

WHAT ARE CHARACTERISTICS OF BERNEDOODLES? (SHEDDING/SIZE/TEMPERAMENT)

SHEDDING: F1 breeding will produce a plusher and curlier coat. Most first generation Bernedoodles shed very lightly.

SIZE18 - 22 inches tall; 25 - 49 pounds

TEMPERAMENT: small dog size with a big dog chill; spunky, smart, strong-willed, and lover of cuddles

WHAT COLOURING IS PRODUCED IN YOUR LITTERS?

A typical bernedoodle littler can produce tri coloured, sable tri coloured, sable, phantom, bi coloured and sometimes recessive cream or black coloured puppies. While traditional teddy bear Tri Coloured Bernese puppies are still the highest in demand - Australian Bernedoodles are gaining popularity! Though we cannot guarantee colour, we can guarantee that you will have a healthy + wonderful family member.

Because they are a hybrid breed, Bernedoodles tend to have fewer health problems than either Poodles or Bernese Mountain Dogs.
